چکیده
• ORC and compound ejector-multi evaporator vapour compression systems are combined. Nine ultra-low global warming potential refrigerant pairs proposed to replace R134a R245fa. Condenser waste heat recovery increases the overall coefficient of performance. The pair R1234ze(Z)/R1234ze(E) results in highest energy This article evaluates exergy performance a novel dual fluid combined organic Rankine-compound ejector multi evaporators system (ORCEMES) for power, cooling heating purposes. Six working fluids with potential: R1234ze(E), R1243zf, R1234yf CEMES R1234ze(Z), R1336mzz(Z) R1224yd(Z) were selected, resulting nine combinations. can work two operating modes: power-cooling power-heating modes. combination R1234ze(Z) R1234ze(E) power generation from 21% 75% at high geothermal low temperatures, respectively, compared separated basic multi-evaporator same conditions capacity. reduces compressor consumption 85% system, increasing COP remarkably. Concerning analysis, low-temperature recapture exchanger shows destruction rest components, followed by turbine. Besides, second expansion valve presents lowest percentage.

Parametric and working fluid analysis of a combined organic Rankine-vapor compression refrigeration system activated by low-grade thermal energy
The potential use of many common hydrofluorocarbons and hydrocarbons as well as new hydrofluoroolefins, i.e. R1234yf and R1234ze(E) working fluids for a combined organic Rankine cycle and vapor compression refrigeration (ORC-VCR) system activated by low-grade thermal energy is evaluated. The basic ORC operates between 80 and 40 °C typical for low-grade thermal energy power plants while the basi...

متن کاملMulti-Variable Optimisation Of Wet Vapour Organic Rankine Cycles With Twin-Screw Expanders
A multi-variable optimization program has been developed to investigate the performance of Wet Organic Rankine Cycles for low temperature heat recovery applications. This cycle model contains a detailed thermodynamic model of the twin-screw expander, and the methods used to match the operation of the expander to the requirements of the cycle are described. The capability of the cycle model has ...
متن کاملPerformance analysis and working fluid selection for geothermal energy-powered organic Rankine-vapor compression air conditioning
Results: The calculated results show that because of high system pressure for R290 and R134a, R600a is the more suitable working fluid for ORC in terms of expander size parameter, system efficiency and system pressure. In addition, R600a is also the most appropriate working fluid for VCC in terms of pressure ratio and coefficient of performance. R600 and R600a are more suitable working fluids f...
متن کاملPerformance analysis of organic Rankine cycle based on location of heat transfer pinch point in evaporator
The location of heat transfer pinch point in evaporator is the base of determining operating parameters of organic Rankine cycle (ORC). The physical mathematical model seeking the location of pinch point is established, by which, the temperature variations both of heat source and working fluid with UA can be obtained. Taking heat source with inlet temperature of 160 C as example, the matching p...
